La Lozana andaluza is a novel in dialogue form published in Venice in 1528. Its author is most likely the Spanish clergyman and editor Francisco Delicado, who escaped from Rome a year earlier due to the anti-Spanish sentiment provoked by the sacking of that city by the troops of the Emperor Charles V.
